2025 Canadian federal election

The 2025 Canadian federal election was held on April 28, 2025, to elect members to the House of Commons of the 45th Canadian Parliament. Governor General Mary Simon dropped the writs of election on March 23, 2025, after Prime Minister Mark Carney advised her to dissolve Parliament.
