2026 Broad Peak avalanche

On 30 July 2026, an avalanche struck a group of 10 climbers attempting to summit Broad Peak in the Karakoram range of Pakistan. The avalanche occurred at an altitude of about 6,600 m (21,700 ft) on the slope between Camp 2 and Camp 3 and swept all the climbers down the mountain.
