Aztec Triple Alliance

The Aztec Empire, also known as the Triple Alliance or historiographically as the Tenochca Empire but most accurately known as the Mexica, was an alliance of three Nahua city-states: Mexico-Tenochtitlan, Tetzcoco, and Tlacopan.
