Miramax, LLC, formerly known as Miramax Films, is an American film and television production and distribution company currently owned by Qatari state-owned beIN Media Group and Paramount Skydance. Based in Los Angeles, California, it was founded in 1979, by brothers Harvey and Bob Weinstein.
