Indonesia–Malaysia confrontation

The Konfrontasi, also known as the Indonesia–Malaysia confrontation or Borneo confrontation, was an armed conflict from 1963 to 1966 that stemmed from Indonesia's opposition to the creation of the state of Malaysia.
