New York is an American biweekly magazine. Founded by Clay Felker and Milton Glaser in 1968 as a competitor to The New Yorker and The New York Times Magazine, it was brasher in voice and more connected to city life, becoming a cradle of New Journalism and one of the first lifestyle magazines.
