The Ottoman–Wahhabi war, or Wahhabi war, was fought from early 1811 until 1818 between the Ottoman Empire, its vassal the Eyalet of Egypt, and the Wahhabis’ Emirate of Diriyah, resulting in the destruction of the latter.
