Mother's Milk is the fourth studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on August 16, 1989, by EMI Records. It is the band's first album to feature drummer Chad Smith and guitarist John Frusciante, who replaced drummer Jack Irons and founding guitarist Hillel Slovak, respectively.
