The Yarkent Khanate, also known as the Yarkand Khanate and the Kashghar Khanate, was a Sunni Muslim khanate ruled by the Turkified Mongol descendants of Chagatai Khan, son of Genghis Khan. Its ruling house belonged to the Eastern Chaghatayid, or Moghul, dynasty.
