Antoine Raymond Joseph de Bruni, chevalier d'Entrecasteaux was a French Navy officer, explorer and colonial administrator who served as the Governor of Isle de France from 1787 to 1789. He explored the Australian coast in 1792 while searching for Jean-François de Galaup, comte de Lapérouse.
