Gennadius Scholarius

Gennadius II of Constantinople was a Byzantine philosopher and theologian, and Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople from 1454 to 1465. He was a strong advocate for the use of Aristotelian philosophy in the Orthodox Church.
