Gustav Heinrich Tammann

Gustav Heinrich Johann Apollon Tammann was a Baltic German chemist-physicist who made important contributions in the fields of glassy and solid solutions, heterogeneous equilibria, crystallization, and metallurgy. He first predicted the order-disorder transition in alloys.
