Marisol Escobar

Marisol Escobar, otherwise known simply as Marisol, was a Venezuelan-American sculptor. She was born in Paris to Venezuelan parents and lived and worked in New York City. She held the US, Venezuelan and French nationality and became world-famous in the mid-1960s, but lapsed into relative obscurity within a decade.
