Meister Eckhart

Eckhart von Hochheim, commonly known as Meister Eckhart, was a German Catholic priest, theologian, philosopher and mystic. He was born near Gotha in the Landgraviate of Thuringia in the Holy Roman Empire. He was a member of the Dominican Order.
